Why it does not unlock forever
A live subscription check protects both sides.
The browser pass is signed so it cannot simply be invented or edited. When you visit member content, the arcade asks Stripe whether the associated subscription is active or trialling.
If a payment fails or the subscription is cancelled and becomes inactive, the browser pass is removed and the games return to preview mode. Resubscribing creates a new active membership.
